We are always available to listen to our patients express their concerns or particular needs. We utilize our patient satisfaction surveys (which are available to everyone in both of our offices as well as on our website) as a tool to assist us in making changes to our practice that are beneficial to our patients. Based on the responses we have received, we've made some changes to help us provide better service. We think you'll like the result.

Dr. Eduardo Torres will be joining The Adler Center in August 2005.  Dr. Torres earned his Medical Degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  He graduated magna cum laude earning several awards for his academic achievements including Dean's list and Golden Key National Honor Society.  His training includes vast experience in addominal, vaginal and laparoscopic surgery.  In addition to his academic and surgical skills, Dr. Torres is a compassionate and caring physician who shows respect to his patients and builds lasting relationships with them.  Dr. Torres speaks both English and Spanish fluently.  He will be an excellent addition to our team of providers!!

Dr. Jodie Horton will be joining us on September 1, 2005.  She obtained her medical degree at Medical College of Virginia and completed her residency at the University of Tennessee.  Her academic achievements include the Gynecology Oncology Award, the Resident Teaching Award, and the National Dean's List.  Her special interests include vaginal and laparoscopic surgeries and treating abnormal pap smears.  She prides herself in being extremely energetic and a good listener. 

Patricia Gould, CNM, will be joining the Adler Center on November 1, 2005.
Patricia has been assisting women and their families throughout pregnancy and childbirth for the past ten years. She completed her nursing and midwifery degrees at The Ohio State University, earning her MS in 2004. She also has a BS in Spanish and speaks spanish fluently!

Patricia lived in south Texas for twelve years and enjoys working with the Hispanic community. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, soccer and Latin dance. Her area of interest is naturopathy/holistic health.

In May 2004, we started emailing our newsletters on a monthly basis to those of you who have provided us with your email addresses.  If you are interested in receiving our newsletter through email, click here.  We also publish the newsletters on our website. It is important to us to keep our patients informed. Each issue focuses on a health topic of special interest. If you have any particular topic suggestions, please feel free to contact our office.

All of our patients are special to us. In the past that might not always have been apparent. But now we're making a better effort to show patients that we do care about their comfort and concerns. Looking at our services from a patient's perspective has helped us to identify and adjust areas needing improvement.

We know waiting time has sometimes been a concern. We are working diligently on this problem in order to provide you with quicker, more efficient service.  We now have all of our patient information forms online.  Patients can also request appointments, prescriptions and lab results and medical records online.  These capabilities will allow our staff to spend less time on the telephones and devote more time to you, our patients, while in our office.

Quality of care continues to and will always be our first priority. Both our physicians and our midwives have excellent credentials and experience. Dr. Adler is board-certified and our other physicians are all board eligible. Our 5 midwives are all certified, with several years of experience. They are well respected and popular among our patients.
