The
Wards' Baby Story
Where to
begin???? I've had 8 pregnancies and 5 children born...4 of whom
were delivered by Dr.
Adler. As a young mother coming to a new area, I was delighted to find a compassionate,
incredibly intelligent and understanding doctor. Unfortunately,  my first experience
with Dr. Adler was for a D&C after my first miscarriage. I had
only been through my initial OB appointment and hadn't even had a chance
to meet with him. Our encounter was brief but truly memorable. I
remember his honest and heartfelt concern not only for my physical well-being, but
also for the emotional roller coaster my husband and I were
experiencing. I knew immediately that he wasthe doctor for me. I've been a patient of Dr. Adler's for over 17 years and have watched his practice grow (along with his patients!). He is still the caring, and VERY funny guy we knew way back when. Any doctor who can come in after inducing me and watch the GW basketball game with my husband is O.K. with me! The time he locked his keys in the car up in Fairfax after inducing me with my second child (I was at Potomac) was another funny time. I kept my legs crossed but that baby was coming no matter what! His associate, Tobie Beckerman, was there to make the catch. He's never failed us and although our "baby making" days are over, he'll be fondly remembered at our house as the one who helped make miracles come true for the Ward Family!
