Welcome Message from Dr. Adler
We are very excited to announce the launch of The
Adler Center for Women's Health E-Newsletter. What this means to you is
the benefit of enhanced communications by using a powerful tool that
will reach you at the touch of a button, providing everyone with
up-to-date information, unique to our practice.
Our goal is to stimulate your interest and heighten
your awareness of all the current and future innovative services
offered. We plan to cover many topics of interest, to create an
educational, personal and provocative environment that will be mutually
beneficial. In addition to covering clinically and medically relevant
topics, we would like to keep you abreast of any changes made in our
practice, such as the addition of new providers and staff, changes in
policies, the availability of evening and maybe weekend hours, and many
other exciting services.
In our E-Newsletter we will inform you of our Women's
Health Seminars, which will be held monthly and will cover subjects
such as osteoporosis, controversies and myths in postmenopausal hormone
therapy, sexual dysfunction, bladder control conditions, prenatal and
obstetrical issues, wellness and prevention and many more. A link to an
E-Radio segment as well as an E-Video segment is also planned.
This will be a very dynamic medium, that will not only
be informative, but also interactive, allowing our customers to
complete surveys on line, email us with questions and comments that can
be addressed in subsequent E-Newsletters, and in the near future, allow
you to request your own appointments on line.
We believe that with this E-Newsletter, the sky is the
limit. We look forward to a new era of partnership, one that is
technologically advanced creating a new sense of trust and confidence
that is unparalleled. This will be permission based so that you will
not receive any communications unless you desire.
We look forward to this new relationship. Any ideas or
thoughts that you wish to share are greatly encouraged. Your feedback
is paramount and will only solidify this relationship. Thank you for
this opportunity to serve you in the best possible fashion.

| Women's Health Seminar - May 27th! |
 |
The Nurse-midwives at the Adler Center are organizing monthly
seminars on Women's Health Issues beginning in May. We
encourage you to sign up for our monthly newsletter and join us for one
of our seminars. It is very important to us that women are educated on
important health issues and we want to provide them with a place to
gather and discuss their concerns with a provider. The first topic we
will discuss is Breast Cancer Awareness. This educational and
informational meeting, to be held May 27th at the Woodbridge office
from 6:30pm - 7:30pm, will be a perfect place to educate and empower
women on their health concerns. We will have snacks, light refreshments
and encourage you to bring a friend.

| What is a Certified Nurse-Midwife? |
 |
Written by Rita-Marie Goudreau
I have worked with the Adler Center now for almost
three years and I wanted to take the opportunity in this first patient
newsletter to share with you what it is that a Nurse-midwife has to
offer. One of the easiest ways to explain the benefits is to explore
some frequently asked questions often heard when talking about
Nurse-midwives. If after reading this brief article you have further
questions or simply want to meet with one of us for your next visit
please feel free to call our office!
