Delivers Are Super Cool!

When my husband and I found out we were pregnant with our second child we were so incredibly excited.  Our daughter Montana was going to be a big sister and our family was going to grow in love.  Having known Dr. Adler socially, we decided to switch to the Adler Center practice in hopes of having a more pleasant birthing experience this time around.   Unfortunately, shortly into the pregnancy we suffered a miscarriage.  We quickly became pregnant again and the outcome was the same.  We were devastated.  However, with encouragement and support from Dr. Adler and midwife Rita-Marie, we tried again.  The result was a beautiful baby girl.

Of course, we were very nervous throughout the pregnancy.  I asked tons of questions at every visit.  I sometimes even asked the same questions several times.  The staff at the Adler Center was always friendly and supportive and NEVER grew impatient with me.  Dr. Adler, Rita-Marie, Misty and Sharon made me feel so comfortable throughout my nine months of waiting. 

Four days before I was due we decided to induce because I was so uncomfortable and my blood pressure was playing funny games.  We arrived at Potomac Hospital only to find out that I was already in labor!  The excitement began to mount and so did the anxiety.  However, Dr. Adler put us at ease and made everyone feel so relaxed.  He even entertained a large family gathering!!! 

When Abigayle Faith arrived, she weighed in at 9 pounds 12 oz!  I really don’t think I would have ever believed that I could deliver such a big, beautiful baby.  With the encouragement of Dr. Adler and his staff it turned out to be the most wonderful experience ever.  Dr. Adler was so wonderful, not only with us, the parents, but also with our daughter Montana.  She was a big sister now and he was sure to make her feel so important.  When the nurse brought Abigayle to me, she was decked out in the cutest little sunglasses compliments of Dr. Adler.  And yes, big sister Montana was given a pair too!  We truly believe that the Adler Center is the only place to go for maternity care.  At the Adler Center, the babies they deliver are SUPER COOL!
